To inform and connect the Body of Christ “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35 Stop Measure J – Polling shows 50/50 split among voters – Educate everyone you can If Measure J were to pass, every dairy and chicken ranch regardless of size could be forced to close, including my family’s dairy farm of five generations. While it is promoted as protecting small family farms, the measure’s language is vague and confusing and does not protect any farm. Without local farms our local food culture would end as well. Two examples are Straus Family Creamery and Clover Sonoma. They would not survive as local dairy processors if the dairies that supply them were not here. Measure J would also endanger our open spaces. Every time a farm is forced to close the land will be vulnerable to development. Very few people support Measure J once they understand what it does. Please tell as many people as possible. The Petaluma City Council wrote a good summary of their position here: https://cityofpetaluma.org/petaluma-opposes-measure-j/ If you have questions, I would be happy to answer them so that you can be confident when speaking with others. Do you look around, see the problems in the world, and wonder “what can I do?” Sadly, in frustration, millions of people choose to sit on the sidelines. 1 in 3 Christians don’t vote. That's about 25 million people. Sign up and join our letter writing campaign today. We’ve identified Christians in swing states who are pro-life and pro-traditional family but who are unlikely to vote. And we need your help to contact them before Election Day on November 5. Don’t worry you’re not starting from scratch! You’ll receive a letter that’s typed and ready to print, so all you need to do is write a short, personalized message at the end. We’ll walk you through each step in the process. Letters are available now to start writing. https://www.myfaithvotes.org/writenow/#start-now “…and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you…” I Peter 3:15 NKJV Installing Heaven's Infrastructure “People responded from everywhere to Nehemiah’s call for help [to build the wall]. It is going to be increasingly important for us to be ready to respond to God’s call to build His kingdom on earth… “Just like in Nehemiah’s time, there’s a call going forth to different people with different skill sets, in different regions, to come together and rebuild the apostolic ministry. If we are just getting together for conferences or just looking for a boost every Sunday, we're living far below the standard of work God wants to bring in this time. We've got to go beyond our present church experience. God has put us here to be salt and light. If He can align the individuals with the right skills with the right resources, we can change the trajectory of our nation—and our world… “We are called to rebuild, restore, and renew. I believe there will be a restoration of the end-time apostolic and prophetic ministry. I am not against people who carry the titles of apostle or prophet, but I think what we're now calling apostolic and prophetic ministry is just a starting point. I think where God is taking us is a full restoration of the apostolic and the prophetic. This is important, because there are a lot of denominations out there arbitrarily teaching that the ministry roles of apostle and prophet are no longer for today.” Rick Joyner publications.morningstarministries.org Sonoma County GOP Report on Election Systems and Practices in the March 2024 Primary Election Here are some highlights –
What Do I Say When . . . ?: A Parent's Guide to Navigating Cultural Chaos for Children and Teens This book looks like an incredibly helpful educational tool for parents with children of any age and is especially important now, when children are being challenged by unbiblical ideas every day. Here is an excerpt from the books description, “Answers to Tough Cultural Questions Presented to Christian Parents Navigating the world for the first time can be challenging, especially when popular cultural beliefs contradict the teachings of Scripture. So when inevitable questions arise, parents must be equipped with sound biblical answers to guide their children through the complexities of modern life…” because if we fail to teach the principles, discipline and ethics of Christianity to our children, others will surely step in to teach their worldview.
